Since Sedona
The days since Sedona have been so very beautiful. I’ve finally come to such a place in my life that it’s best described as serene. I’m meditating daily, I’ve lost a few pounds, and overall just feel perfect. Of course, there are a few things that I’m still working on, but now, I can smile about it all. I can’t believe how self-aware I have become and how just listening…truly listening, can guide me through each day. Work is going well, too.
I got the chance to get out of town the other night. Went with a friend out to a lake in the middle of nowhere…yes, there is a lake in the middle of nowhere here in Phoenix. Actually we were outside of Phoenix, but it was close enough and far enough away at the same time. The moon was almost full, it was overcast and raining. We sat on the end of the dock, watching the moon fight to break though the clouds, and feeling the intermittent raindrops. A fish would splash in the water every once in awhile, and it was absolutely heaven. We filled four hours of conversation, and in no time, we had to head back to the city. I think I’m going to have to go back soon.
In other news, the trip home in October is currently being planned. Also a trip to Vegas is in the works for November.
